Ambition

Here's my third shipment from Black Bunny Fibers Club (Team B). It's a blend of 50% alpaca and 50% superfine merino. Carol has started a 3rd team of BBF. I think Carol mentioned on Ravelry that there're some spots left. Hurry over or email her.

Below is a comparison of the intensity/saturations of the same
colorway - Chloris.
Left to Right: Chloris, Chloris 2 (both in superwash merino) & Chloris in superwash wool. All dyed by Tamara of Spincerely Yours.

Here's a picture of a bobbin (about 2 ounces) full of the gorgeous Peruvian Merino. Iris is dyed by Carol of Black Bunny Fibers (Team B Fiber Club).

Here's a swatch for Tempest. I'm using superwash merino sock yarn from Fearless Fibers. The darker yarn is called Chocolate Pink Cherry (will be the main color) & the other is Infatuation (the coordinating color). M1 helped in choosing the colors.

I have 3 pictureless WIPs. They are a poncho for M1, a sweater for M2 and Lizard Ridge (project while waiting for swim lesson to end) for the sofa. I'll try and take pictures soon.

Iris - Black Bunny Fibers Club, Team B

This is the first installment of roving from Black Bunny Fibers Club (Team B). BBF club is unique in the sense that all members will receive the same fiber but Carol will dye up different colorways for each individual member based on the answers to our questionnaire.

This installment's fiber is 100% Peruvian Merino. I split the roving into 4 lengthwise. This will normally spin up fingering/sport weight yarn for me but this roving has a mind of its own. It wants to be lace yarn. It may even be light fingering yarn. It's really easy to spin. I'll try and take picture of the bobbin this weekend.

Goodnight!!

Rovings

I've uploaded pictures of rovings to my photostream. I'll add more as time permits. Received my first installment of roving/fiber from Black Bunny Fibers Club, Team B today. I love the colors and I've not spun with this particular fiber before. Something new for me to try.

Black Bunny Fiber Club 2

I have been reading & drooling at pictures of fibers from the first Black Bunny Fiber Club posted on Ravelry and blogs. I'm in the second BBF Club. I read earlier this week that the first installment will be shipping soon. From what I've read and drooled, each member will get their own color and the fiber is the same for all. I can't wait to receive mine.
Thanks, Carol. I'll post picture(s) after I've pet mine.

November Fiber Club - Oops

Oops... Looks like I messed up my fiber subscription for November. I changed it from single to double but somehow pay for them all for November. Now I have 12 ounces of the fiber in the same colorway. Looks like I'll have extra to spin and add to the Etsy store.

Pie for Everyone

I received my November fiber from Spunky Eclectic on Monday and I have spun up half of my fiber . I'm starting the second half tomorrow. It's really yummy. The fiber is Falkland. I'll post a picture of my yarn when I'm done but for now, you can take a look at the yarn all spun up at the Spunky Club.
