Abalone has been added to Etsy. The colors of this yarn reminds me of the colors in Monet's painting. It consists of soft lavender, bright periwinkle, muted olive combined with white.
I've just re-listed Aqua Velvet. It has a lot of yardage - approximately 640 yards or 585m. The colors of the yarn consists of aqua (a light turquoise), sea green, light spring green & white/cream. Here's a link to a list of shawl patterns (free or otherwise) sorted by yardage.
M.A.S.H has been added to Etsy. It has the colors of chirstmas red and green, some white and a hint of brown. It's a bit difficult to see the brown as it was placed next to the green. The roving is dyed by Amy of Spunky Eclectic.
Here are pictures and specs of yarn spun up before the power outage.

The merino yarns are super soft and sproingy/lofty. I still have another 4 handspun. 3 are not ready (no pictures yet) to be added to Etsy and one is drying right now (uploading pictures later tonight). The above 3 will be added to Etsy late tonight or tomorrow.
Yipee!! Ann of Mason-Dixon Knitting mentioned my handspun on her blog again. Thanks!!! The scarf shown is knitted from Christmas Candies and Ann is sharing the pattern too.
Jackie custom ordered Chloris 2 and has knitted it into a multidirectional scarf. You can see the finished object on Ravelry or here and here. I really like how the scarf turns out and look. It goes with any colors in your wardrobe.
I'm still catching up on chores. We didn't stock the freezer to it gills as we heard that some on the eastside of town has power failure again after it was restored. I still have to watermark the 3 handspun from 2 weeks ago and 4 more to be photographed and proofed. Also, my dear spunky swap partner, I'm getting your box ready. I'll email you when I send it. Talk later.
Kids are in school today. M1's field trip is suppose to be today. I think it has been canceled. Today will be the first time M2 is buying lunch from cafeteria. Don't know how she'll like it. I'm at the library across from school using their Wi-Fi. Read in today's paper that power may be back up on Sunday. More later.
For those who are without power still in Central Ohio, Whole Foods' giving away free ice. Limit of 50 pounds. I just stuffed 30 pounds of ice in my freezer.
According to AEP map, we may have power on the 21(Finshinger,Zolinger & Riverside) and the school on the 20 (Tremont Rd). I don't know why some of our are is not shaded as we still don't have power.I guess I'll just go and enjoy myself at A Wool Gathering on Saturday and hope for the best.
Not sure when it will be back up. Houses across from us has power (even numbered houses). Was told that schools will have power tomorrow. I don't know whether the schools will be ready tomorrow or Friday. We lost a couple of big branches of our sickly maple. The branches didn't hit the roof. There's an anomaly on the roof though. I'm no roofer but one of the tiles near the apex of the roof is curling. I know that curling is normal along the edge of the roof. Don't know whether our desktop is toast or not. I'm also fighting a head cold. Starting to feel tired. Guess we'll be heading home soon.
I'm at Panera - UA using their wi-fi & checking email. Read in the paper that if we do not have power by today, we will not have it for another 2-6 days. I hope that we get power back today it's likely as people across the street from us has it last night. I guess all my food in the fridge is spoilt. Kids are out of school today too. Looks like they have 3 calamity days left for winter.
Dora is the last update for today. I have 3 more handspun drying at the moment. Photographs of the handspun have been proofed. I'll watermark the photos and upload/preview another day.
I'm not ready at all. I apologise that I took so long to upload/add the handspun. We've been out of town and I wasn't able to make my laptop talk to the router. Anyway, in Summer 08 issue of Spin-Off, there's a gallery of Morning Surf Scarves knitted from handspun. I knitted one for my daughters school auction. This pattern is very flexible/adjustable. Based on the specs in Spin-Off, with sports weight yarn:
