I do have more yarn waiting for their photoshoot and some waiting to be plied. I've uploaded some videos of perfomances at the Asian Festival to YouTube. Some videos are still in the progress of uploading so do check back for new ones. Have a great weekend if I don't get a chance to pop back in.

Allergies

I'm tired from the allergies this spring. Do not have the mojo to do much. Kids activities are culminating at school. I guess I'll not be able to do much update. Asian Festival and the Great Lakes Fiber show is this weekend. I better pop some anti- allergies meds if I want to enjoy the activities. Have a great & safe Memorial weekends.

Thank you

Thank you for participating in the sale. Hope all of you had a great Mother's day. I had a blister on the palm of my right hand and was not able to pre-draft fiber for spinning. I'm fine now. I've been working on other projects such as weaving, knitting. I'm thinking of adding fridge magnets to Etsy. The magnets will have pictures that I took. Any suggestions? I do have some yarn to add and will try to do so before the week is up. Tomorrow the kids have early dissmisal from school and Thursday they have a follow-up eye appointment. Also, next Monday will be M1's spring string concert. I hope that we'll be able to taple the performance with the new toy we scored from a local biz that's closing. Below are some pictures taken over last week. Be back soon. Take care and thank you again for your support.

Variegated Solomon's Seal

Lily of the valley

Foam Flower
Bouquet from hubby for our special day

8/9 bags of tulips dug up from the conservatory

Love the Japanese maple trees

P/S - I forgot to take picture of the woven scarf aka test project and the gift I received from the kids. I'll post picture another day.
P/P/S - Diana emailed & let me know that she has finished her fingerless mittens with flap aka glittens using Isabella 1. Isabella 2 is still available if anyone is interested in making a pair of glittens.

Sale extended

I decided to extend the sale through Mother's Day, May 10, in honor of all mothers. Free(domestic & Canada)/discounted(International) shipping still applies on order over 100. Plus I don't want to take down the sale as I want to bond with my loom(see pictures below)

The above is dwarf/miniature bearded iris I planted in a cement planter along with thyme, hen & chicks and dianthus. Below are pictures of the loom assembled on Friday and test weaving in progress. The kids and I finished veggies planting yesterday and in the backyard I saw some Lily of the Valley and King Solomon blooming. I'm spinning at a slower pace as I have too many distractions. Enjoy the sale and thank you for your support.
