My summer break, part 2 - warning picture heavy

Besides the pool, we spent a lot of time lounging on the sofa reading or watching DVDs. The kids were in 4 different reading programs through the varies local libraries. We went to the cinema, a couple of times. At the end of July we went to Washington, DC.

On July 28, we went to the Holocaust Museum, where photography are not allowed. We also went to the Space Museum.

We had fun in DC even though it was hot, humid & tiring. That's all for today. Will be back soon. BTW, Happy Independence Day, Malaysia.

My summer break, part 1 - warning picture heavy

I'm back from my summer break. I decided to take one while the kids were having theirs. I did spin some yarn but didn't add them to Etsy.  I've uploaded pictures of 11 yarn to my photostream and 12 more drying on the rack. I'll add the yarn as time permits. Here's a pictorial summary of my summer.

Patons Classic Merino

Universal Yarn Pace #13 & Rio De Plate SC15 (sock yarn)

We spent many days here

The kids swam & I floundered. Note to self - have to learn how to swim. I can only go about 2 yards. Kids tried to get on my back while I was floundering and they nearly sank me. Luckily, I was floundering at 3.5 feet deep.

Ate a lot of these
