Chantico

Chantico (100% superwash merino dyed by Tamara of Spincerely Yours)is the Aztec goddess of fire, home and fertility. Her symbols are a red serpent and cactus spikes. She ruled wealth and precious things both in the home and of the earth. She is defensive of her things and of her family. It is said that she broke a fast by eating paprika with roasted fish and was turned into a dog because that was against the custom. This is a good name for one who would like to be more strong-willed and protective of one's self and one's family. The colors in this yarn range from paprika to a dark rose with some white in it. This yarn will be great for shawl, hats, socks or mittens.
